Introducing Sunbeams: A Taste of Ojai in Every Sip

There’s something magical about summer in Ojai. The scent of sun-ripened citrus in the air, golden light streaking across the valley, and that feeling of barefoot freedom you never quite outgrow. At Revel, we wanted to bottle that feeling—and now, we have.

Meet Sunbeams, our newest year-round jun kombucha flavor, crafted with local oranges grown right here in the Ojai Valley and infused with real vanilla bean. It's our tribute to the sweet, sunlit character of this place we call home.

For years, we offered Sunbeams as a seasonal flavor, pouring it on tap during the warmer months. And every year, without fail, customers would ask, "When is it coming back?" So this time, we decided not to let it go.

Sunbeams is now available year-round—on tap and in 12 oz cans.

Behind every Revel flavor is a story, and this one starts with Adam, one of Revel’s founders. Growing up with his brother, the sound of the ice cream truck coming up the street was a call to pure joy. Adam’s go-to? The orange creamsicle. “It just tasted like summer to me,” he says. With Sunbeams, Adam wanted to recapture that nostalgic flavor—only this time, with a modern, health-forward twist.

To bring the spirit of Sunbeams to life visually, we teamed up with local designer Dustin Byerley. The new can design is bright, playful, and full of that laid-back Ojai energy. It’s the kind of drink you’ll want to share at the beach, after a hike, or just sitting on your porch watching the sun dip behind the Topa Topas.
